This study is to draw the educational implication by researching the influence to identity of professional social workers with professional characteristic recognition and the satisfaction of majoring social workers in collage. It is also investigated whether these factors show any difference depending on internal, external job value. The AMOS 22.0 statistic program was used with data from collages and university students in Gwangju, Jeonnam and Jeonbuk. As a result, it is claimed that the higher satisfaction and job characteristic recognition as a social worker, the higher identity as a social worker shows. But only internal factors (Ability, achievement, community service, aptitude and interest) played roles to control between major satisfaction and social welfare professional job identity for job value, other variables were not meaningful. It means that they focused on an external job value that emphasizes payment honor, and the working environment. To build up the establishment of right job value, the way to complete ethics, philosophy, and volunteerism as compulsory courses in university major education need to be discussed. Futhermore, the university should study and try the practice of healthy education. Implications for the education of major in social welfare is suggested.
