Recently, the mobile app market expands and serves extensive areas of service such as shopping, gaming, finance, and business to meet the diverse needs of users. Meanwhile, there is also a growing concern that the provision of a variety of services can negatively affect consumers, even though the mobile app service expansion have positive effects in terms of consumer and service providers. Nevertheless, there is a lack of research on which type of mobile service expansion significantly increase consumers’ benefit and minimize their confusion. Thus, our first study compared consumers’ perceived benefits to supper-app and multi-app the based on Gestalt principle and IS success model. As a result, consumers perceived that supper-app is superior to multi-app in terms of service diversity, interactivity, accessibility, process completion, perceptual advantage, and commonality. The second study demonstrated that six consumers" welfare factors have different effects on their perceived usefulness and ease of use, and ultimately positively affect the intention to use of supper-app.
