This study is based on the William Marston`s DiSC behavior type model. the purpose of this research is to find the effects of DiSC behavior type on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the deluxe hotels employees located in Seoul. For the purpose of this study, we worked by following detailed objects. First, this study seeks to identifies the major variables of DiSC behavior type through the precedence literatures on this subject. Second, this study examine how the DiSC behavior type can effect job satisfaction. Third, This study also examine how the job satisfaction can effect organizational commitment. To execute this research, 193 deluxe hotels employees were surveyed and the data was handled by SPSS 18.0 version. Focusing on the hypothesis set to investigate the purpose of this research, the results can be summarized as follows. First, significant relationship is found between DiSC behavior type and job satisfaction, 3 variables(influence, steadiness, conscientiousness) of DiSC behavior type effect on job satisfaction(job contents satisfaction), thus this result suggest that DiSC behavior type contributes most to job satisfaction. Second, significant relationship is found between DiSC behavior type and job satisfaction, 4 variables(dominance, influence, steadiness, conscientiousness) of DiSC behavior type effect on job satisfaction(job conditions satisfaction), thus this result suggest that DiSC behavior type contributes most to job satisfaction. Third, significant relationship is found between job satisfaction and organizational commitment, 2 variables of job satisfaction effect on organizational commitment, thus this result suggest that job satisfaction contributes most to organizational commitment. In conclusion, DiSC behavior type model should be introduced as soon as possible, because this concept must be an important prerequisite to the successful human resources management and marketing departments for the hospitality industries.
