The purpose of this study was to analyze the content of character education presented on child -care program based on ``the First National Standard for Child - Care Curriculum``. he subjects of analysis are child-care programs for 3-,4-, and 5-year-olds children which were published by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family in 2007. The contants of character education consisted of 9 categories: basic rights including self-understanding, self establishment, basic living, respect for other people, sense of community, democracy, professional ethic, nation-ethnic, and world citizenry. he results of the study were described in the child -care program. The results are summarized as follows. The child -care programs for 3-, 4-, 5-year-olds children were democracy, professional ethics and self-understanding.
