With the beginning of studies on the Korean city-type urban regeneration projects, initiated in 2007, the "Special Act on Promotion and Support of Urban Regeneration" was enacted and implemented in 2013, in Korea. Urban regeneration projects have been actively carried out with this act as a starting point, so that various studies on urban regeneration projects are being underway. However, studies on the empirical evaluation such as the satisfaction of project expenses are somewhat lacking. In this regard, this study conducted an empirical evaluation for urban regeneration projects to lead the successful development of urban regeneration project and promote the participation of residents, targeting Changwon city, where urban regeneration projects have been actively conducted. Through this, it attempts to set the indicators which can help us elicit the efficient operation of urban generation and identify the performance of urban regeneration projects with a view to examining the related application methods. First of all, it conducted questionnaire surveys on the importance and satisfaction on the primal projects of urban regeneration projects in Changwon city for the evaluation of residents. When comparing the analyzed contents with project costs, project satisfaction is mostly distributed in the gradual improvement area. Therefore, it is found that the relationship between the project cost input and project satisfaction is not proportional. However, since the urban regeneration project is a comprehensive project, it was judged that it is necessary to select the detailed indicators of a complex sector for the accurate evaluation. Therefore, meta-analysis of planned indicators and evaluation indicators of urban regeneration projects that have been studied so far are summarized as a total of 144 preliminary indicators in physical, social, and economic sectors. With this, closed questionnaire surveys were conducted on the expert panels two times and a total of 45 detailed contents of evaluation indicators about urban regeneration projects in Changwon city were derived.
