The present Korean society suffers from Neoliberal economic system and the future of Korean society is expected to suffer from the development of Robotics and Artificial intelligence. Many workers become precariat and will be in competition with AI in the near future. It is urgently necessary to discuss and prepare for solutions for the upcoming problems. This study aims to suggest a necessity to discuss the basic income in consideration of the Jubilee (Lk 4:18-19) and the Kingdom of God (Mk 1:14-15; Mt 4:17) in the Synoptic Gospels. The Synoptic Gospels indicate that the Jubilee and the Kingdom of God are not only individual and spiritual, but also communal and socially reformational. Both negate and nullify the capitalistic values to legitimize unlimited competitions. Instead, the radical and subversive spirit of the Jubilee and the Kingdom of God enables the followers of Jesus to bring care and consideration for all who need freedom and recovery. Likewise, the basic income is radical and subversive enough to help the captives and the wounded in the society to experience freedom and recovery for the sake of communal well-being.
