본 연구는 질적 연구(심층 인터뷰)를 통해 액티브 스마트 시니어의 모바일 쇼핑 경험에 대해 연구하였다. 특히 모바일 퍼스트 추세에 상응하지 못하고 PC 에 머물러 있는 그들의 현 상황에 문제를 제기하고 그 이유를 알아보고자 하였다. 액티브 스마트 시니어는 모바일 쇼핑을 긍정적으로 바라보았으나 구매하고자 하는 제품에 따라 제한된 경험을 하고 있었다. 그 이유는 모바일 기기의 한계로 인한 정보 부족으로 나타났다. 정보 부족에 대한 사용자 경험의 개선방안으로 텍스트와 이미지에서 나아가 동영상, 3D 이미지, AR/VR 등의 기술을 적용한 풍부한 정보(Rich Information)를 제품 정보의 콘텐츠로 제공할 것을 제안한다.
