As the importance of information increases with the development of technology, a variety of forms of integrated IT solutions are being utilized and studied in industries. However, the defense industry is relatively short on the private industry for reasons of security and accessibility. In this paper, each group of experts who participated in the research and development of the Digital Management Maintenance System (DMMS) integrated control of the maintenance/history of the military weapons system in the defense industry field have been analyzed for the following four steps. In the first stage, advance research was conducted on integrated IT solutions used in the defense and private industries, and in the second stage, the evaluation items presented in this paper were selected based on the S/W selection criteria presented by the International Organization for Standardization. In the third stage, we conducted a survey of each group of experts involved in DMMS R&D using the decision-making method AHP, and in the last four stages we discussed the application of the results to the actual defense industry sector and future research methods.
This study will serve as the basis for selecting and evaluating integrated IT solutions in the defense industry that will continue to develop in the future.
