As the number of older infrastructure over 30 years is increasing, urban deterioration is rapidly progressing. This can be a risk factor that threatens the safety of citizens. We need to transform urban deterioration into a user-centered supply that meets demand. It is necessary to create a smart urban environment through the application of information and communication technology for fundamental shift of urban deterioration according to social structure. This study is a basic study to examine the feasibility of living lab, which is a methodology of city development project to accommodate the user - based social diversity of urban regeneration projects that incorporate smart ICT technology. This study examines the case of existing living labs related to urban infrastructure development. In addition, this study will investigate the application methods according to the characteristics of living lab and the feasibility of applying living lab in applying smart technology.
