Korea is rapidly aging to make the fastest pace even when compared to the advanced countries of the world, and entered into an aging society in 2017. The current classification of welfare facilities for the elderly is divided into medical facilities, home welfare facilities, and leisure facilities, but the elderly who enter the facility are similar to the disease, functional status and health problems and requirements.
However, due to institutional problems and entrance criteria, the facilities are still classified separately, so that they can not meet the needs of the consumer through the troublesome procedure when moving between hospitals and welfare facilities. This demanding regulation naturally causes the burden of supporting the family have. Welfare facilities are important for families who need economic activity and elderly people who have difficulty living alone. Elderly people who are in need of returning home after surgery because of health problems or sudden accident rate while using care service For our part, our old age system is not right. The purpose of this study is to propose the improvement plan for the urgent care for the elderly in Korea based on the comprehensive contents after analyzing the case of the elderly medical welfare system for the elderly and analyzing the space according to the facility.
