The purpose of this study is to identify what arts therapists experiences in the integrating arts therapy for North Korean adolescent refugees. To accomplish the purpose, this study conducted in-depth interviews with eight arts therapists by Amedeo Giorgi’s phenomenological qualitative research method. As a result, the analysis identified three domains of the characteristics of North Korean adolescent refugees, the experience of arts therapist about integrating arts therapy, and the characteristics of north Korean adolescent refugees’ establishment. First, the characteristics of North Korean adolescent refugees had four core themes. Second, the experience of arts therapists about integrating arts therapy had five core themes. Last, the characteristic of North Korean adolescent refugees’ establishment has one core theme. The understanding experience of arts therapist in the integrating arts therapy for North Korean adolescent refugees would be useful for studying integrating arts therapy henceforth.
