ROK military changed performance management paradigm of logistics support from logistics support unit-oriented to user(combat unit)-oriented in order to improve combat readiness and satisfaction of combat unit. This study, for the verification of this change, analyze the relation of cause and effect between user friendly performance indicators and logistics functional performance indicators for which our military try to apply, and design dynamic model for logistics support performance management from a system dynamics viewpoint for the purpose of developing priority performance indicators. In addition, this study also prepared Stock & Flow Diagram based on the 'causal loop' in accordance with system dynamics research procedure, which enables to simulate effects of combat capability improvement by logistics support performance related with performance indicators. This study designs a model can verify the effects of logistics support activity for combat capability by utilizing system dynamics methodology, also contributes a future empirical research guideline by presenting a functional bassis designed simulation model.
