The object of this monograph is to make clear of relation between Naehun and Sohak. Naehun is a book that Queen Sohye compiled to propagate Confucian morals for women in 15th century. She is Seongjong's mother, the 9th king in Choseon Dynasty. 116 sentences of Naehun were all quotations from the reference books and Sohak was given a great deal of weight, about 70% of Naehun. What kind of knowledge were sentences that Naehun quoted from Sohak? What kind of knowledge did not Naehun accept from Sohak? Although Naehun was a book for Confucian morals for women, its knowledges were all not gender. Its halves were manners and etiquettes for the upper class in daily life. Also Naehun did not accept conservative ideas of Sohak, for example, faithful women's narratives like a woman that killed herself following her dead husband. In the aspect of knowledges transmission from the center of the East Asian cultural sphere in the Middle Ages, it has great significance that Sohak was given a great deal of weight of Naehun. Sohak was an important book that represented Neo-Confucianism. Compilation of Naehun was an important incident not only in women's history, but also in adoption of Neo-Confucianism in the 15th century in Choseon Dynasty.
