The study of fear of crime was started from 1960s' 'National Advisory Commission on Civil Disorders' in USA when it was recognized as one of serious social problems. In Korea, there are going along a lot of studies qualitative research and quantitative research when it is based on 1990s' qualitative research about fear of crime until now. In the early study of fear of crime, it was felt fear of crime in daily life which it menas that was focused on general fear of crime. However, nowadays most studies in fear of crime is understanding what caused the concrete fear of crime according to type of crime. In this study, it compare and analyze selected models as crime victim model, a vulnerability model, disorder model, social integration model and community policing model for understanding concrete fear of crime. When it selected five models, it has to analyze explanatory model to cause of concrete fear of crime in preceding research. The reason why to analyze preceding research is because fear of crime is an effect of complex emotional reaction. The data is used to KCVS(Korean Crime Victim Survey) of Korean Institute of Criminology. The time of survey standard is member of household more than 14 years old who live in Korea on May 29th 2015 at 00:00 am. Result of study, by explaining concrete research, crime victim model, a vulnerability model, disorder model, social integration model, and community policing model is significant consequences. Also, a huge influence model is a vulnerability model and disorder model among these models. Therefore, based on the result of the study, there is a policy suggestion for solve cause of concrete fear of crime.
