The purpose of this study is to evaluate the mix proportions of cement-polymer composites forimprovement in adhesion as coating materials for steel. The test pieces for adhesion are preparedwith various types of cement and polymer, polymer-cement ratio, water-cement ratio, PCS curingmethods and coating methods, and tested for the adhesion test. From the test results, in general, itis a little difference of adhesion according to various mix proportions conditions. The optimum mixproportions conditions with EVA and polymer cement ratio of 80% or more, and St/BA andpolymer cement ratio of 90% or more using ordinary cement as binder are also recommended foradhesion. These data can be used for actual size beam test for bond property using PCS coatedrebar.
