최근 중재적 내시경초음파 시술이 개발되고 임상에 도입되어 활발히 사용되고 있으며 점차 그 활용범위를 넓혀 가고 있다. 아직 대상 환자수가 많지 않아 기존의 방법들과 비교가 좀더 필요하고 표준화된 방법에 대한 논의가 이루어질 필요가 있지만 향후 소화기 질환의 여러 분야에서 중재적 내시경초음파 시술의 중요성은 더욱 높아지리라 생각한다.
