Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors of suicidal ideation, suicidal plans, and suicidal attempts by health risk behaviors among adolescents using the data from the 14th Korean Youth Health Risk Behavior Survey(2018). Methods: A total of 60,040 students were analyzed using the SPSS WIN version 22 program. We analyzed the relationship between health risk behaviors and suicidal ideation, suicidal plans, and suicidal attempts using logistic regression analysis. Results: According to logistic regression analysis, suicidal ideation, suicidal plans, and suicidal attempts were associated with Health risk behaviors factors, mental health factors, socio-demographic factors, and health status factors. Conclusions: Adolescents’ suicidal ideation, suicidal plans, and suicidal attempts and the co-occurrence of health risk behaviors had a statistically significant relationship.
