This study examined the relationship between ego - resilience and job stress according to personality characteristics of insurance financial planners. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the demographic and sociological background of the financial planner and the personality traits and job stress and ego - resilience. First, what is the level of demographic and sociological characteristics of the insurance planner? Second, what are the relationships between the ego-resilience, personality traits, and job stress of insurance financial planners? The research tool used the ego - resilience measurement tool used by Park Hyun - jin (1997) and Bae Myeong - in (2014). In order to measure personality traits, we used the version of Judeong and Lee (2004). In order to measure job stress, the modified version of Symptom Checklist-90-Revision (SCL-90-R) by Kim Jihwan et al. (2000) was used. The results of this study are as follows: First, in the population sociological characteristics, the professional college graduates and the groups over 10 years showed high job stress. Second, the relationship between ego - resilience, personality factors, and job stress was negatively correlated with ego - resilience, extroversion, openness, affinity, and integrity. In order to reduce the job stress of the insurance financial planner, it is necessary to develop a working environment and a job stress prevention program that can reduce the burden on the job performance in addition to the change of personal variables.
