In modern society, images are being produced to consume others. In terms of beauty, image consumption can be reinterpreted as a process of creating an image through a hairstyle and simultaneously consuming its own image to others. The process of image consumption through modern hairstyles can be explained by Jean Baudrillard 's consumer society, simulations, implosions, and images. In order to investigate the research trends of Jean Baudrillard, a total of 55 research articles from 1999 to 2018 were classified into year, degree, major, research method, research subject, and research field.As a result, research from 2004 to 2008 was the most active, and the percentage of master thesis was higher than doctoral thesis. Research areas have been actively researched in the image change stage and the consumer society area, and researches have been mainly carried out in the fields of art, medicine, and media. The reason for this is that cosmetology and artistry can be studied on the basis of visible results, and studies related to the theory of Jean Baudrillard will be possible from the point of view that there are images of cosmetology and images. Therefore, I would like to find out the research trend of Jean Baudrillard and to provide basic data of cosmetic research from the viewpoint of sociology and to suggest possibility of fusion study of cosmetology.
