Report Errors
The purpose of this study is to analyze the major characteristics of each NEET youth group by comparing the groups of young NEET according to educational level. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, among high school graduates, younger age, residents in the metropolitan area with the blue color and the wage earner as the father"s occupation and low household income level, living together with their parents are more likely to be NEET. Among technical college graduates, the more they are older, the more their father"s job is in blue color, the more they live with their parents, the earlier the work experience, the lower their self –esteem, the more they are likely to be NEET. Among the university graduates or higher educated, the older, the female, living with parents, they are more likely to be NEET. It is important to consider customized policy support according to the characteristics of the NEET group by educational level. In particular, education and vocational training policy direction are required to solve the problem of NEET Youth.
