With the growth of the domestic coffee market and the establishment of coffee as an important food and beverage culture for modern people, this study measures perceived festival quality from consumers who visit the coffee festival, and how this festival quality affects functional and emotional values. For conducting empirical analysis, survey method was employed and 400 visitors were selected as study subjects. Based on the final 346 questionnaires, excluding unfaithful ones out of 400, causality verification was performed for basic statistical analysis and hypothesis verification. As a result of the study, it was found that environmental factors among the factors of various festival quality had the most significant effect on the functional value perceived by visitors (t=5.989, p<0.001). In addition, it was confirmed that convenience factors (t=2.821, p<0.01) and system factors (t=2.507, p<0.05), excluding human factors, have a positive (+) effect on functional values. Based on the results, this study will contribute to suggest a strategic way to recognize traditional culture and to derive pleasure through special entertainment and to revisit the traditional market continuously. This study conducted a study on coffee festivals differently from various preceding studies based on festivals, and divided the values perceived by consumers into functional values and emotional values to verify more detailed causal relations, and this study will provide meaningful practical implications for organizations related to the festivals.
