This study verified the mediating effect of exercise strategy in the structural relationship between psychomuscular and perceived athletic performance for fencing players. To identify the research purpose, SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0 statistical packages are used to conduct the research hypothesis by performing technical statistics, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation model analysis, and bootstrapping analysis. Verified. Based on the research results, the following conclusions were drawn. First, it was shown that the fencing player’s athleticism has a positive effect on the exercise strategy. Second, the fencing athlete’s exercise performance strategy was found to have a positive effect on perceived exercise performance. Third, the mediating effect of the exercise strategy was statistically verified in the relationship between fencing athletes’ athleticism and perceived performance. The conclusions from the results of this study showed that the athlete’s athleticism has a positive effect on the improvement of the exercise performance strategy, thereby improving the perceived exercise performance level. Due to the nature of speculative sports, it is necessary to develop and apply psychological skills training to develop athleticism and improve athletic performance strategies through psychological efforts to achieve the goals achieved by athletes, overcoming them in the midst of hard training and injuries and uncontrollable adversity during competition.
