The Pokemon Universe has been expanded in various ways through the interaction of Pokemon contents and different storytelling according to media change. In this paper, we examined how Pokemon contents can develop and grow through Pokemon Universe through Pokemon GO, which is a typical technology convergence content. As a result of the research, it was confirmed that Pokemon GO succeeded the identity of Pokemon Universe, and achieved technical and media - friendly storytelling. Also, we found that narrative structure such as the development, design, and story of technology convergence contents are different from existing media centering on AR technology. Specifically, the Pokemon Universe expands into the Pokemon GO Universe and coexists as an independent universe. The Pokemon GO universe shares the same universe, while the time inside the media crosses the actual time and new storytelling. Second, as augmented reality technology is applied in accordance with the change of the game narrative structure, the character of Pokemon GO is transformed into an organic form that can lead the daily experience of the game user, not the completed hero type.As the narrative is formed through the users’ small routine experience, more stereoscopic character composition and design can be done. Third, media - friendly narrative structure suitable for augmented reality creates new storytelling based on experience narratives of game users. The new storytelling redesigns the space, time, location, and information existing around the user who is a game user, and the everydayness created through everyday experience is important in the augmented reality contents.
