Going through the period of high growth, our society has realized the improvement of life quality grounded on economic growth; however, it is leading to different problematic aspects in society as the community-based group is being dissolved. Although public efforts based on public projects and also voluntary efforts in terms of citizen autonomy are being made restlessly, not only limitations but problems are appearing noticeably in it, too. With an assumption that it is needed to differentiate the types of communities within the structures of space and environment in different regions, this study has examined the characteristics of several types of community towns grounded on the properties of physical environment. According to the location of those towns and characteristics of urban environment, this researcher has found discriminative significance in the growing step of those communities and also growth strategies appearing discriminatively. Also, through analysis, this author has learned that there are opposite aspects of the leaders in the regions, community participants, and the position of the public according to the towns and the towns’ spatial structure and locational characteristics influence the community’s growth (extension) as well.
