This study aims to provide an insight into the lives of students in American, Korean, and international school education through a comparison of narratives. The research was done through primary questions and subsequent interviews with the participants. Comprised of two individuals representing each education system, the research is very limited in scope, but still provides an interesting result concerning the topic. The narratives of the students provided a look into the school experience of the students. The results of the interview show how the difference in the grading system creates a competitive nature in Korean schools, while it creates diverse education in America. This differing nature of schools originates from the goals of the education, where Korea focuses on better grades and America focuses on preparing students for society. When comparing international school students in Korea with students in Korea and America, it seems as if international school students are more affiliated with Korean cultural beliefs and study habits although they are brought up in an American education.
