Purpose The study examines the problem of SME export difficulties for non-English speaking countries, to develop a new business model for SME export activation, and to present an alternative to the business service innovation strategy for SME. Design/Methodology/Approach This study collected survey data from 196 exporting companies in Korea. Exploratory Factor Analysis and multiple regression analysis were utilized to analyze the data. Findings Findings show that first, the foreign trade department and overseas branches had a statistically significant positive impact on global competitiveness. Second, the service industry more aware of the government’s online export policy than the wholesale industry. Third, the manufacturing industry showed statistically significant global competitiveness. Fourth, less than 6~10 people were more highly aware of the trade-dedicated departments and overseas branches. Lastly, companies with 5 to 30 billion won in sales recognized statistically higher trade departments and overseas branches. Research Implications The foreign trade department and overseas branches should be built to strengthen SMEs’ global competitiveness. It is necessary to utilize existing global B2B online platform, but develoop a B2B online platform model for Non-English Speaking Regions to actively pioneer emerging markets. To this end, the government needs to expand its online export policy.
