The purpose of this research is to find out how dance class has an effect on female middle school students’ enjoyment and emotion. The subjects of this research were 139 students attending D Female Middle school. These students were from 4 classes in 3rd grade. Among them, 125 students were used for analysis. The collected data were analyzed by frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and the Paired t-test in the SPSS WIN Ver 18.0. Results are as follows. First, to analyze how attending dance class affects enjoyment, we did a pre-test and a post-test and the results had a significant difference. Secondly, to analyze how attending dance class affects emotions, we did a pre-test and a post-test. There were significant difference in positive emotions. The results above show that attending dance class has an effect on female middle school students’ enjoyment and their positive emotions, futhermore, this means that dance class is a part of the physical education curriculum which can lead female middle school students to attend physical education class actively.
