The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of multicultural belief, multicultural acceptance of preservice early childhood teachers on multicultural teaching anxiety. A total of 233 preservice early childhood teachers were involved in the surveys of multicultural belief, multicultural acceptance and multicultural teaching anxiety. The subjects were majoring in early childhood education in universities and colleges located in Daegu, Gyeongbuk and Busan, Ulsan and had completed the early childhood practicum. The data were analyzed by the mean, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results demonstrate that preservice early childhood teachers feel intense anxiety before and while conducting multicultural education. Second, the multicultural teaching anxiety has a negative correlation with multicultural belief and multicultural acceptance. Third, multicultural belief and multicultural acceptance have a 60% explanation power of multicultural teaching anxiety. This result suggests that in order to lessen multicultural teaching anxiety, multicultural belief, multicultural acceptance need to be focused on in preservice early childhood teachers’ education and teacher training programs regarding early childhood multicultural education.
