In order to develop a hydrogen electode with high-performance and stabilization for $H_2$-$O_2$alkaline fuel cell, the elcertrochemical stabilities of the Brewer-type Co-Mo and Ni-Mo alloys manufactured by arc-melting method were investigated in KOH solutions deaerated by electrochemical methods. The existence of $Co_3$Mo and $Co_7$M$o_6$in the Co-Mo alloy, N$i_3$Mo and N$i_3$Mo in the Ni-Mo one was identified by means of x-ray diffraction analysis. Co-Mo electrode was found to be more unstable than Ni-Mo one. It was due to corrosive dissoultion of Co-Mo alloy to which cobalt was sensitive in hot KOH solution. The dissolution current of alloys increased with the electrolyte temperature and concentration. Though electode of intermetallic compounds was more unstable than pure alloying elements, it was considered that intermentallic compounds are able to be used as hydrogen electrode for AFC without corrosion problems, since corrosive ptoential of alloys was located above operating potential range of AFC's hydrogen electrode
