This study analyzed the structural relationship between educational environment perceived by college students in sports, major satisfaction and preparation for career behavior. The model suitability index of the research model, which set the educational environment perceived by sports students as an exogenous variable, the major satisfaction as the mediator, and the preparation of career behavior as an endogenous variable, was found to be good. There was a significant causal relationship between the degree of satisfaction and major. Based on these findings, the conclusion of this study is that the sports-based educational environment influences the students’ major satisfaction. Therefore, learner-centered changes will be needed in various fields such as professor lectures, curriculum, facilities, and employment information among various factors of the educational environment of sports students. In particular, the instructor said that it is important to develop and apply programs such as comparisons for lectures and preparation for career behaviors, job information, industry-university relations, field trips and trainings, and job interviews. As a result, students are rapidly melted into the ever-changing sports trends, and more active attitudes are prepared in preparation for career behavior through self-development. On the other hand, since this study is for a limited number of local students, it will require a broader understanding of local students, access to the educational environment, and further research.
