Carbon fiber is manufactured by heating and carbonizing organic fiber under inert gas and it has excellent specific strength, elastic modulus, thermal and chemical resistance. Due to those advantages, carbon fiber has been extensively applied in high-tech fields such as aerospace, defense areas, and civil engineering as reinforcing material.
