The collection of PM<SUB>10</SUB> and PM<SUB>2.5</SUB> samples has been made at the Mt. Halla-1100 site, which is a background site located at the Planetary Boundary Layer (PBL) of Jeju Island in 2020. Mass concentrations of PM<SUB>10</SUB> and PM<SUB>2.5</SUB> were 15.6±14.0 and 7.1±5.8 μg/m<sup>3</sup>, respectively, during the study period. The concentrations of secondary pollutants such as NO<SUB>3</SUB><SUP>-</SUP>, nss-SO<SUB>4</SUB><SUP>2-</SUP>, NH<SUB>4</SUB><SUP>+</SUP> were 1.25, 1.77 and 0.86 μg/m<sup>3</sup> in PM<SUB>10</SUB> and 0.58, 1.56, 0.83 μg/m<sup>3</sup> in PM<SUB>2.5</SUB>, respectively. Composition ratios of the secondary pollutants (NH<SUB>4</SUB><SUP>+</SUP>, nss-SO<SUB>4</SUB><SUP>2-</SUP>, NO<SUB>3</SUB><SUP>-</SUP>), marine species (Na<sup>+</sup>, Cl<sup>-</sup>, Mg<sup>2+</sup>) and soil source (nss-Ca<sup>2+</sup>) were 79.6%, 8.3%, and 6.4% in PM<SUB>10</SUB> aerosols.
