Smart work based on the Internet is a way for workers to freely process their work across time and space, leading to important changes in the working environment in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Recognizing the importance of smart work, this study attempted to research the relationship between the quality of smart work and the effect of work efficiency. The theoretical model and hypothesis of this study were established based on previous studies. The data were collected by a convenience sampling from a self-administered questionnaire survey from August 20 to September 30, 2019 from partner employees working at the department store. The results of these findings are suggested as follows: first, the quality of smart work affected work efficiency. Second, all of the sub-hypotheses, including system quality, information quality, and service quality, had a positive impact on work efficiency. The results of this study show that among the quality of the department store"s smart work system, service quality had the highest impact, so it could be seen that quality improvement is very important, such as guidance on business processing and results and real-time grasp. The results of this study can provide practical implications in connection with the future service improvement in the distribution sector such as department stores.
