In today’s era of artificial intelligence, mobile communication technology, virtual reality technology and other digital technologies have been widely used in the field of art. However, with the development of immersive space design, many art Spaces simply attract users to take photos and consume, unable to accurately grasp the soul of immersive space experience. This kind of experience will make users more and more bored. In this regard, this study aims to understand the problems and development direction of immersive art space by analyzing users’ preference for it. Research methods and scope Firstly, through literature investigation, the concept and elements of user experience design and immersive art space are theoretically understood. Second, four immersive art Spaces opened in Seoul in the last five years were selected. The Spaces were investigated and analyzed through on-site visits, and users’ evaluations on the Spaces were mastered through questionnaires and observation surveys. Thirdly, taking men and women of all ages as objects, user preference is analyzed from five aspects, namely, general characteristics, environment, content, participation and interaction. Fourth, the collected data were verified by SPSS.21 program. The part of the preference analysis of immersive art space consists of the selection of research objects and user analysis. The selected research objects are four art Spaces in Seoul with immersive design that have been established in the last five years. The user analysis part takes men and women of all ages as objects, and the questionnaire survey is based on the basic information of users and the usefulness, value, reliability, charm, searchability, usability and proximity of the design elements of user experience. So the final conclusion has four selected components. First, crowd positioning; Second, cultural extraction; Thirdly, space environment design; Fourth, the application of new display equipment. Finally, the future immersive art space will be a collection of various arts, technologies, humanities, etc. It will not only take the display itself as the development direction, but more importantly, it will take the all-round and multi-perspective information integration and dissemination as the driving force and development trend. As users, they will have a higher level of cognition of the world, society and civilization.
