This study aims to investigate the current status of convergence curriculum and convergence meth- odology in order to find the improvement plan, after examining thoroughly problems, that the con- vergence education in domestic universities is confronted with. In order to accomplish that aim, this study identified problems of convergence education through analyze to precedent studies, preceded the focus group interview (FGI) with specialists of convergence education based on this analysis, and applied it’s results to the composition of questionnaire on convergence curriculum and convergence methodology. With this research it is noticed that convergence education leans to the practical edu- cation for job or ascending course, is only superficial complex education delivering knowledges of dif- ferent sciences in parallel, and thus produce not results accorded with it’s primary intent and purpose for training of the twenty-first century creative convergence of talent due to the lack of a practical curriculum framework, convergence curriculum and its convergence methodology. Through the em- pirical study grasped this study the current status and necessity of convergence methodology and mode of convergent thinking in order to solve the problems of convergence education in domestic uni- versities, and suggested the practical curriculum for learning of convergence methodology of educators and strengthen of their convergence competence who are engaged in the convergence education.
