The inter-industrial inducement effects of the Korean automobile exports on the output, value-added, imports, and employments of 165 industrial sectors of the Korean economy have been computed by the input-output analysis technique utilizing the ‘2015 Input-Output Statistics’, which was published most recently in the 2019 year by the Bank of Korea. The Korean automobile industry produced ₩87,089 billion worth of automobiles and exported ₩55,028 billion worth of automobile in the year 2015. The Korean automobile exports induced ₩144,643 billion worth of output, ₩37,783 billion worth of value-added, and ₩16,548 billion worth of imports for Korean industry as a whole.; the production inducement multiplier, value-added multiplier, and imports inducement multiplier of the automobile export are 2.63, 0.69, 0.03 respectively. The computed inducement effects and multipliers in this paper would be utilized for the economic and industrial policy analyses and application studies under the rapidly varying automobile industry environments in these days.
