Tandem solar cell is a novel technology that solar cells of various photoactive materials are electrically connected. Due to their high potential to solve the current challenges to exceed the theoretically limited efficiency of single junction solar cells, many researchers has started to investigate technological development using tandem structure. Here, in this study, we shows the first organic/silicon tandem cell based on a semi-transparent polymer on a crystalline silicon (c-Si) substrate.
