Recently, p-type passivated emitter and rear contact (p-PERC) solar cells have been commercialized and become leading product in photovoltaic industries. In this structure, role of passivation quality on the rear surface was significant. For further improvement of the rear surface passivation, tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) structure has been developed. This structure is one of carrier-selective contact structures that can obtain high conversion efficiency.
