This study is to explore the direction of revision of the Act On The Employment Promotion And Vocational Rehabilitation Of Persons With Disabilities in Korea. The Act On The Employment Promotion And Vocational Rehabilitation Of Persons With Disabilities is an important foundation that has led Korea"s employment policy for persons with disabilities for the past 30 years. Korea is a country that has adopted the mandatory employment system for persons with disabilities, and various employment policies for persons with disabilities are based on the Act On The Employment Promotion And Vocational Rehabilitation Of Persons With Disabilities. During this period, the Act On The Employment Promotion And Vocational Rehabilitation Of Persons With Disabilities was enacted, and about 47 revisions were made, including two full revisions. Although various positive outcomes have been achieved in the employment of persons with disabilities through the amendment of the law, there are still problems in some areas. In order to solve these problems and establish a better employment policy for persons with disabilities, it is necessary to revise the Act On The Employment Promotion And Vocational Rehabilitation Of Persons With Disabilities. To this end, this study tried to derive the history, performance, limitations, and revision plan of the Act On The Employment Promotion And Vocational Rehabilitation Of Persons With Disabilities. First, the achievements of the Act On The Employment Promotion And Vocational Rehabilitation Of Persons With Disabilities include the improvement of the employment rate for persons with disabilities and the provision of various employment support services and corporate support services. On the other hand, limitations include the structural problem of the law, non-fulfillment of obligations by conglomerate to hire persons with disabilities, and the gap in economic activity between the severely persons with disabilities and the mildly persons with disabilities. Finally, points to be considered when revising the law are described. By amending the law, it will solve the problems of the current law and at the same time serve as a basis for establishing future employment policies for the persons with disabilities.
