Objectives: In 2010, there were changes in the employment policy for people with disabilities, which include increases in the employment quota and the implementation of double count system. This paper examined the relationship between the revised employment policy and employment outcomes of people with disabilities. Method: Using data from the 2008~2015 Panel Study of Employment of the Disabled and the ordered probit model with sample-selection, I investigated the relationship between the revised employment policy and salaried labor-force participation of people with disabilities and employment outcomes of the participants. Results: Results suggest that over the period 2011~2015 the policy changes had potential effects on the improved employment outcomes of men with disabilities participating in the salaried labor-force. In contrast, the policy changes were not related to the employment outcomes of women participants with disabilities.
Conclusions: Since women with disabilities face disadvantaged status in the labor-market, more strong policies are needed to integrate them in the workplaces.
