The purpose of this study to investigate isokinetic muscular function and basic physical fitness according to the growth period from middle school to university in male baseball pitcher. Seventy-eight baseball pitchers(middle school, n=27; high school, n=30; university, n=21) participated in this study. As a result of measuring the muscle strength of isokinetic knee joint at per body weights 60°/s, there was a statistically significant difference between the groups in both extensor(p<.01), flexor(p<.01). And there was a statistically significant difference between the groups in both extensor(p<.001), flexor(p<.001) in muscle strength of isokinetic knee joint at 60°/s. As a result of measuring the average power of isokinetic knee joint at per body weights 180°/s, there was a statistically significant difference between the groups in left extensor(p<.05), right flexor(p<.05). And there was a statistically significant difference between the groups in both extensor(p<.001), right flexor(p<.001), left flexor(p<.01) in average power of isokinetic knee joint at 180°/s. As a result of measuring the basic physical fitness test, there were statistically significant differences between groups in grip strength(p<.001), back strength(p<.001), repeated jump (p<.001), standing broad jump(p<.001), sergeant jump(p<.001), and trunk backward extension(p<.001). In this results, it will be help in improving performance as a systematic training program by evaluating isokinetic muscular function and basic physical fitness according to the growth period of middle school to university baseball pitchers.
