With the acceleration of international economic globalization, international civil disputes are becoming more complicated. We are facing an urgent issue in which international civil disputes should be resolved quickly and safely with a low cost. East Asia has a promoting position in international economic disputes so the same issue also exists among East Asia regions. In recent years, the combination of arbitration with mediation is well practiced in Chinese arbitration procedure. This mechanism has attracted attention of the whole world. This article investigates on the dispute resolution, which is the combination of arbitration with mediation program in east Asia. The artilce also explores the possibility of the combination of arbitration with mediation program in solving disputes in East Asia and the world through perspectives of regional dispute resolution culture and party autonomy.
