This study aimed to examine the distribution and characteristics of mountain, river, and wetland tourism resources among natural tourism resources in Gimhae City through a landscape unit approach. Departing from the analysis of cataloging tourism resources and listing individual properties of each resource in the existing geographical approach to tourism resources, this study conceptualize the mountain, river, and wetland tourism resources of the Gimhae as several characteristics. An attempt was made to reinterpret the academic research achievements in the landscape field by grafting tourism resources, and to compose the contents into a storytelling format. This study did not reach the typification of tourism resources, especially spatial typification according to the regional distribution characteristics of tourism resources. The conceptualization of the characteristics of tourism resources and the composition of content in the form of storytelling conducted in this study are expected to be useful in the field of tourism product development or tourism resource commentary, unlike the aspects of tourism policy.
