There are very few studies on the development of rural tourism resources to revitalize the rural economy. Therefore, this study aims to illuminate the value of the dumbeong irrigation system in Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, and to develop a brand of rural tourism resources. In order to revitalize rural tourism, it is necessary to develop these rural resources as tourism resources, but in the process of developing tourism products, external capital inflows expand, which can create jobs for local residents and have negative effects on the local economy. Therefore, by discovering key tourism resources, which are local brands, and enhancing their value, in addition to discovering rural and agricultural resources of local residents, the spirit of hospitality to tourists is cultivated by cultivating pride in the culture and history of the region to which they belong. Gradually increasing the stay time of visitors will be able to develop tourism resources and revitalize the rural economy.
