Report Errors
The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the process of counseling in progress by utilizing Outcome Rating Scale and Session Rating Scale. In this research, researchers performed the role of both a participant and an observer. As observers, we observed and recorded the changes in counseling process, the client’s reactions and the counselor’s experiences. Two clients who met the criteria for this study were selected as participants. As the result of this research, we described how the monitoring process using Outcome Rating Scale and Session Rating Scale occurred and what happened to counselors and clients in this process. From the result of the research, we found that utilization of ORS & SRS in the process of counseling can promote effective counseling progress. This research also suggests advantages, disadvantages and precautions of using ORS & SRS.
