Today we live in a digital-centric era. However, it is also true that as the speed of development of material civilization accelerates, the gap in values between generations widens. Accordingly, today"s generation classification method shortens the traditional generation from the biological point of view, which is classified based on the 30-year life cycle, and subdivides it into approximately 10-year cycles to understand the changes in the social and cultural universal order and to set X, Y, and They are classified as Generation Z. Among them, Generation Z, which consists of teenagers and 20s, shows unique characteristics that distinguish it from past generations. As the children of Generation X, they stand for digital fundamentalism as digital natives, break down all boundaries, and multitaskers who handle many things at the same time, sharing public interests and experiences. have an attitude that values Analyzing their values, linguistic habits, lifestyle and consumption trends is very meaningful as interest in potential subjects who will inherit enormous wealth from their parents and grow into the largest population group in the future increases. In this study, based on the characteristics of Generation Z obtained through literature research, "YouTube", an online video platform where they spend the most leisure time, communicate, and share trends, is divided into four experience areas (4Es) of experience economy theory. ) and Schmitt (1999)"s strategic experience modules (SEMs) of five elements as an analysis framework to analyze the experience types of YouTube channels they prefer. As a result of the analysis, it was analyzed that the YouTube channels preferred by Generation Z reflected their characteristics well and satisfied all experience elements. Based on the analysis results derived in this way, it is hoped that it will be helpful in establishing a marketing strategy that can effectively appeal to Generation Z, and that it will be a meaningful data for future follow-up studies.
