Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate influencing factors on career preparation behaviors in nursing students. Method: In this research 258 nursing students participated and descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, stepwise multiple regression were used in data analysis. Results: Career preparation behaviors were significant differences according to their characteristics like grade and academic record. Through the analysis of multiple regression, explanation ability of model was 48.9%, the influencing amount of factors on career preparation behaviors were academic record, self-leadership, grade, career-identity in order. Conclusions: Self-leadership and career-identity had positively influenced on their career preparation behaviors, so improving nursing student’s career preparation behaviors, diverse programs would be necessary for promoting self-leadership and career-identity level, at the same time considering grade and academic record.
