Thanks to advancements in digital technology and the growth of the platform industry, various approaches applying Virtual reality throughout everyday life are appearing as familiar environments. Virtual reality is the technological environment where reality is artificially implemented in a virtual space. Recently it is developing into a trend where even augmented reality and mixed reality is being realized. The present study attempts to help people understand how Virtual reality appears in everyday life as something familiar and examines the issues for Virtual reality from an Christian counseling perspective. The study describes a conceptual understanding of Virtual reality based on literature research. It also examines studies in the field of psychotherapy that apply Virtual reality. And presents issues for Virtual reality from an Christian counseling perspective as well as issues that appear in cases involving a virtual reality therapy approach. Research Results, It reveals how Virtual reality faces issues of values, fiction, perception and experience, immersion from an Christian counseling perspective. The study proposes a necessary discussion from an Christian counseling perspective prior to applying a Virtual reality therapy approach. Virtual reality requires a more in-depth examination and continuing discussion from a Christian counseling perspective. Research must be advanced in way that proves the effects of Christian counseling through the use of actual case studies.
