Human created his life pattern by constantly experiencing time and space, and through different types of communications searched for expansion of space and its meaning, in order to respond to changes in physical base. Place formed according to human-environment interaction, is a cultural space where human experience is accumulated by time. Based on place, incidents and actions occurring in the place, natural and artificial objects located there form locality. Locality is the identity and image of a place. That is the reason that the perception of place names and hometown is based on locality as well. Human contacts with the world and accumulates knowledge about it, also understands our nature, abilities and limits by movement. The starting point of a region is place, therefore by connecting the place it expands to village, district, region. The spatial movement occurs through road, and as a physical base of locality the place where the road connects is the cultural space and origin of locality. Locality, as public interest and public development concept, is restructured within a context of power relationship, such as local festivals. Identity formed within the boundaries of place and region, is a driving force for the community sense, and also it is spiritual and abstract experience formed by diverse environmental influences of the region. Identity is basically including the concept of oneness, integration, commonality, also it is based on a collective experience of people using the place. Identity is a cultural content based on geographical space, however it is not always unchangeable and there are number of cases also that according to local economical, political demands identity changes.
