This study examines the use of photography in digital art based on the philosophy of Vilem Flusser. Photography in digital art has a different appearance from ordinary photography. Therefore new framework of theory is required to see this new images which move pixels by audiences or generating music. Vilem Flusser explained the technical image of modern society. He gave a warning that humans could falling under the control by devices of technical Image. In this situation, he found a little hope in the digital art field. Digital artists resist the automaticity of the device and create new results that the device maker did not expect. Flusser named ‘new Imagination’ for this phenomenon. In addition, they are not independent individuals, but jointly created a art work through communities. Therefore, digital art is an art that is completely different from the previous classical art and presents a new paradigm for a new era which called digital generation.
